Origins

Stefan Ćulibrk started Highway One in 2022 to invest on behalf of his family and a handful of like-minded partners. Highway One Fund accounts for 95% of Stefan's portfolio. Before founding Highway One, Stefan was employed by Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London. He left at the end of 2014 to invest full-time. He lives with his wife and two children.

How we invest

Our goal is to protect and then grow the purchasing power of our capital at the highest rate possible.

We have four non-negotiable investing criteria. A Highway One business is:

1) An essential part of a durable ecosystem

2) Earning excellent returns on incremental capital

3) Led by ambitious, ethical people that see the business as their canvas

4) Priced to deliver 15% per year for a number of years​

A portfolio of ten such businesses, held for a very long time, will likely deliver outstanding results. We typically get a chance to invest in such businesses during periods of idiosyncratic or macroeconomic uncertainty.
